Our Dossier Paperwork is on the way to the Agency.

We did it!  The check and the documents are on their way to the agency.  We are praying for a speedy process for the documents to be certified, authenticated and then to be sent on to the CCCWA.  We are awaiting those three precious letters, DTC. 

Completed the last visit for our new home study last Tuesday.  Working very hard to compile the last of the documents needed for our dear social worker to be able to complete the home study.  Once the home study is completed we will have a payment that needs to be made to the Social Worker for the Home Study. 

 

The next step after the Home Study is to complete a Supplement 3 application for USCIS.  There should not be a charge for this Supplement 3, as we have never had to submit one before.  Hopefully the wait will not be very long to hear that our new home study information has been accepted. 

 

Then the next step will be to finish getting together the rest of the documents to send to China.   We are getting close to having all of the documents compiled.  The new agency will take care of all of the State Certifications/Authentications and also the Authentications with the Chinese Consulate.  With the sending of the documents to China (DTC), there is another fee that is due. 

 

We are needing to continue our fundraising efforts to get the fees together for the Home Study and for the next set of fees for the Dossier to China.  We have a t-shirt fundraiser going on with at:  www.bonfirefunds.com/movingmountainsformarleesmiracle

We would like to have a pancake breakfast.  The restaurant that was willing to help has changed ownership.  If anyone has any ideas about where to have a fundraiser/pancake breakfast please let me know.

Living Hope Home Study Initiated

Tuesday, September 16th, 2014 We are welcoming our Social Worker back to our house for the first visit for our new home study.  Praying that we will be able to able to quickly complete the new home study requirements and to then work toward a quick dossier to China.  Sweet, Marlee, Mommy is coming for you.

Marlee YiHeQin's case transfered to our new agency.

Marlee YiHeQin's case has been transferred to our new agency.  We are elated to announce that we will be able to continue to pursue the adoption of precious Marlee.  We are with a new agency, awaiting our contract to begin the steps all over.  The new agency is very supportive and feels that we should not have any difficulty with continuing the process.  We have to start all over and we are no longer reusing our dossier.  Our home study will have to be redone.  Our previous social worker works for the new Hague accredited agency.  This is the same agency that has Marlee's case now.  Praying that this process will be speedy in the quest to bring sweet Marlee home.  Help us to pray to bring Marlee home as soon as possible.
